I am reluctantly up, but secretly wish I could sleep another 47 hours or so. I hope the degree of exhaustion I feel is representative of the break neck pace of my life this last week or so and of my blood loss, and not reflective of some type of vitamin or mineral imbalance. I am assuming the former, both as it has peaked only in the last day ot two, and because I continue to supplement so well with my Celebrate vitamins and other stuff, and eat a decently large variety of good foods.
Just the same, I feel as if someone ran over me with a truck, and am not yet feeling the rejuvination from having yesterday off. I hardly did much by my standards, too, and mostly sat around drooling and groaning and doing other slovenly things.
I am SOOOO glad that our garage sale was last weekend and not this crummy, cold and rainy weekend, although this morning we are supposed to go visit two of Tom’s co-worker friends who are having sales of their own today. One came and borrowed some tables and signs from us yesterday, and we ran into another at a garage sale we visited (one of just a few we went to) yesterday when I couldn’t suppress my urge to shop.
After this, we are heading out to a nearly all day fundraiser for Adopt-A-Pet, where we will be joined by friends Rose and Joe and Kathy. We are hoping that this wraps up in time for us to fly across town and meet up with Barb and Rick and Marlene, where we are to watch Pete’s annual barbershop chorus show. We already have everyone’s tickets, so it is rather imperitive that we get there on time!
Afterwards, we would all like to head out for a very late bite and chat…although I am worried both about dietary and stamina issues on this one. Just the same, we’d like the chance to catch up more with our friends, so I expect we’ll shoot for this anyway if they are all up for it. After all, tomorrow is Sunday and supposed to be a day of rest…so I suppose I can poop around more then instead if I need to relax.
I really need to get back into a work out routine as well, as I have not yet resumed this first due to the sale, then the post sale exhaustion and busy work week, and now due to my period. Monday should be right to get back in the saddle, though. I definitely feel all stiff and achey and sore and tired…and in the past, a good work out would help to get the kinks out.
Well, I am off to prep for the busy day…. I hope to eat like a normal human being despite whatever foods I may encounter along the way, and so far continue to feel like I am managing ok.
I’m sure that I’ll say more on this tomorrow and if I deviate much one way or another, I’ll be sure to either rat myself out or seek kudos for my efforts!
