Weight: 216.6 lbs.
Well, I at least lost some weight running around the casino all day yesterday! However, this is more likely due to the fact that my purse weighs so much less now! Unfortunately, what goes up apparently must come down, as Tom and I had a more typical gambling experience called LOSING! This dampens our holiday cheer some, but we are comforting ourselves with the fact that we are still up for the season and hey, its not called “gambling” for nothing.
I also gambled with the buffet, and lost. This time due to the fact that meat apparently got stuck in my gullet (stoma? pouch?) and after eating some shrimp and then steak with too much gusto, my eating suddenly came to a screeching halt as I thought I was gonna throw up. I urped and burped and sat with discomfort instead, but what a sad ending to a nice meal and a plate full of other goodies just waiting for my recovery. Unfortunately, I had to relinquish my chicken breast, slab ‘o turkey, remainder of the shrimp and carrots to Tom, who then ate this in addition to his choices. I certainly didn’t get my “money’s worth” this day. But, between this and a longer a.m. workout and so much casino walking, I did manage to drop out of the 17’s.
This morning I have also already worked out “hard”, and feel limber and rubbery. I have come to love the post exercise feeling and actually look forward to this every morning now. It is a fresh, energizing, relaxed feeling and it can last through much of the day. On the other hand, I am finding myself tired earlier into the evening lately, and like last night, was in bed by 9:00.
Well, today I am off to a long day at Aspire, so I’d better get moving in this way too! Later I hope to take time to order some books from Amazon.com, as in addition to the ones I want on Windows 7 and by Temple Grandin (who is an autistic scholar), I now apparently need to buy: “The Idiots Guide to Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery” as Melting Mama wrote me that her bariatric web site and MINE are listed in the appendix! How cool is this?! Not to mention that I’m up for any new gastric bypass books on the market and expect this to be an overall good read, as are all the Idiot’s guides. Whee…early Christmas presents for me!!
