I seem to be having trouble with my new laptop, as mysterious things keep happening, like today’s font being different on me although I never touched a thing. I hate the learning curve associated with any new electronics, and this isn’t helping any!
In other news, last night at the casino where Tom and I spent a total of like 45 minutes, we came home $268 richer! Maybe I’ll need to spend the money on a tutorial or computer expert to help me to know how to use this #$@!%$ thing!
Today I am weary from a long day at work and not up to spending time to investigate the mysteries of this machine. I am also starving as I haven’t eaten since I munched on an apple at my desk about 5 hours ago. All I’ve otherwise had today is eggs for breakfast (albeit 3 of them with cheese!), a slice of wheat toast, and some cashews. Of course for many, this would probably be a weeks worth of food or feed a whole family of post gastric bypassers! Obviously, I still can and do eat a lot, although I also still work out daily to try and mitigate whatever damage my good appetite may be doing. I have not yet used maximum self discipline to control portions or types of food eaten, however, but should consider this more seriously as I’m sure this jeopardizes how fast and much I am losing. Something certainly to devote more thought and time to when I am fresher!
Well, a dinner of cocktail weenies and chili is awaiting me as Tom took the liberty to open cans and prepare this while I am distracted here. Not probably a great choice, but hopefully it’ll at least do for my protein requirements for this otherwise lax eating day. Whatever the case - I’m about to seek out small children to munch on if dinner isn’t served soon…so I guess chili, it is!
