Run, Run, Run and the Runs

Weight: 232 lbs.

I am stuffed right now, yet due to eat the casino buffet in just a few short hours. It was dumb of me to “nibble” up like a half a can of cashews while trying to clear my DVR of so many unwatched shows that it won’t fit any new recordings. So, uncharacteristically for me, I have sat home all afternoon, watching show after recorded show, almost obsessively, in order to make space for new recordings! And, ate probably 1,000 calories of nuts while doing so.

I think that this is what happens when I don’t otherwise get any “down” and alone and relax time - when I finally do, I o.d. on it like I do everything else. Moderation is just not a word in my vocabulary, I guess.

Now, my lucious day off is nearly over, Tom is due home momentarily, and we must head to you know where with my co-worker and her husband, to once again attempt to make a casino killing while consuming 4 free buffets. Not that I’m complaining - but frankly, I could use just a little more “do nothing” time to refuel and rebalance both myself and the DVR.

Plus, now my stomach is very upset from my nutty nibbling, and I can neither imagine eating a buffet, nor leaving the sanctity of my bathroom for an extended period of time.

God, I am sooo stupid and impulsive and short sighted!

But at least I organized my paperwork and coupons while playing couch potato!

Oh, and Tom and I went to look at a used car this morning, in the ongoing hopes to find a reliable, more fuel efficient and ideally 4 wheel drive replacement for his van. We checked out a 2006 Suzuki Aerio wagon for what turned out to be too high of a price for us, and for the paucity of equipment that it came with. Plus, the guy who was selling it and the neighborhood he was in, were both a little “scary” and funky, and some things just didn’t add up in the man’s story. He actually was a dealer, and said that he had bought the car to sell, from somewhere in Arkansas….

And then he tried to sell us the Rainbow Bridge….

So, I guess we have way more looking and thinking to do, but, this may keep me from being too vegetative come winter, I guess!  (Anyone out there have any good vehicles for sale for us?!)
