Necessary Mutilation

I’ve been a very bad girl today! Although I was off like gangbusters tending to laundry and many other household chores, I knew that I couldn’t be focused or “good” for long and, as I’d anticipated yesterday, I felt compelled to attend today’s Ukraine Festival at a nearby church. While out garage-saling yesterday, Tom and I spotted the sign indicating that the annual festival was today and, as we had gone last year and remembered it fondly, we thought that if we could stand one more social event this week, this could fit the bill.
