Necessary Mutilation

Although I feel bad about moving forward with my life today, I’ve decided that it serves no purpose to remain home and worry about Sally. Besides, Tom had offered to cut Janet’s grass this morning, and so we decided to start our day off early at garage sales while en route to Janet’s. We picked up our friend Nancy along the way, and found some good bargains before dropping Tom off to take care of the yard. He said that Janet stopped by briefly to let her dogs out before heading back to return to her vigil at Sally’s, and that things remain status quo.
