Ouch!

Weight: 258 lbs.

I am in pain almost constantly. A gnawing, burning stomach (?) pain that I may be imagining feels better for a little while after eating. It has been progressively getting worse through the week, and is now affecting me enough that it is putting a damper on events I am trying to enjoy and on my mood. Yesterday after the rain subsided, several of us did head out to my boss’ farm, and it would have been an even better time if I weren’t struggling with tummy problems. I did pick at the huge spread of food items, and still tried a variety of things in small quantities, but worried throughout that I may develop a problem at any moment. I never did, which is good becasue there were like 100 people and one bathroom, but I did feel both slightly nauseated and hurty throughout. For the last hour or so, Tom, my friend Charlie, and I metal detected on her 200-year-old property, but we only managed to find what looked like old machinery parts and some square nails. Our metal-detecting group had detected there last year on special invite from MaryEllen and found a treasure trove of goodies, including a civil war belt buckle and numerous old coins. One day, weather and MaryEllen permitting, and if I haven’t keeled over from terminal stomach issues, we’d love to go back.
