Necessary Mutilation

There seems to be a theme of stupid food choices in my life this weekend and, given the title of today’s entry, you’ve probably already guessed the punchline.

But, before I grouse about eating too much or the wrong things, I need to complain about the nasty swelling and pain I am having where the groshong was removed. I have noticed that I continue to have marble-sized nodules in my neck and, last night, that my chest area was also hard, swollen, and painful where the catheter had been removed. Plus, the dime-sized sore where the vena cava filter was supposedly installed in my neck was bulging and swollen as if being pushed out by the marbly swelling behind it.
