Melting Away and ‘Eating Good’

At-home weight: 287.5 lbs.

So, I seem to be progressing well, food wise.  In Thursday’s appointment, “M” gave me official permission to eat small quantifies of whatever foods  my stomach tolerated, and that is what I’m doing.  Nine days post-operative, my diet consists of:  water; power protein drinks; soups (broths and tomato and milk for added protein); skim chocolate milk; small bits of cottage cheese (low-fat); low sugar and low fat yogurts of all flavors - blended; applesauce (decreased sugar and/or organic); low sugar juices; water; baby food (some yum, some yuk!) and water.  Oh, and I just introduced a tiny bit of scrambled egg (mushy, with milk) and yesterday, downed some well chewed chicken salad (store bought) although technically this was a no-no due to the chunky texture and high fat mayo.  No problems, though, and the only urpee experience I’ve had at all to date came at the hands of a jar of Gerber Stage 2 baby food - Chicken and Rice Dinner.  Maybe it was the carrots or maybe it was because I realized: “Ew, I’m eating f***ing baby food!”
